With the signing of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia almost finalized, Deco indicated that only one more addition might be made.
In comments shared by *Mundo Deportivo*, Deco explained that Barcelona already has solid depth in both defense and midfield. He highlighted players like Gavi and Marc Bernal—both recovering from injuries—as key components of the squad moving forward, alongside key names like Ronald Araujo and Dani Olmo, whose fitness is being carefully managed.
However, Deco noted that the forward line could still see reinforcement. “In attack, it will depend on what we can do in the market. But it may be the only area where we feel something is missing,” he stated.
This aligns with previous reports that Barcelona is targeting a new winger, specifically for the left flank. Luis Díaz remains a priority, though a recent bid was rejected by Liverpool, casting doubt over that possibility. Alternatives include Marcus Rashford and Nico Williams, both seen as strong potential additions.
Ultimately, whether Barcelona can afford a second summer signing after Garcia will depend on outgoing transfers and financial maneuvering, but Deco’s comments suggest any incoming move will likely be focused solely on attack.
