BREAKING: Manchester United to Announce Signing of Young French Striker on Free Transfer

Manchester United are on the verge of securing the signing of 18-year-old striker Enzo Kana-Biyik from French side Le Havre. The highly rated French youth international is joining the club on a free transfer and has already arrived in Manchester. Only a few final administrative steps remain before the deal is made official, after which the club will formally announce his arrival.

Kana-Biyik, though yet to debut for Le Havre’s senior team, impressed last season with nine goals in 16 appearances for their U-19 side. His standout performances earned him training time with the first team and recognition as a future star.

There has been interest from Ineos-owned Lausanne-Sport regarding a potential loan, but no decision has been made yet. For now, Kana-Biyik is expected to begin his career at United within the academy or Under-21 squad.

The move is reminiscent of Paul Pogba’s early switch to United from Le Havre. The club has also made efforts to support young French-speaking players—such as Mali’s Sekou Kone—by ensuring language accommodations at the academy. This initiative should help Kana-Biyik feel at home at Carrington as he begins this new chapter.
