Bradley Barcola Addresses Liverpool Transfer Rumors: “£300M? It’s Just a Figure.”

Liverpool are preparing to make a huge splash this summer with transfer spending that has already exceeded £300 million. One of their top targets is Bradley Barcola, the 22-year-old winger from Paris Saint-Germain, who has finally responded to the speculation about a move to Anfield.

Reports from England and France indicate that Liverpool are ready to offer around £100 million for Barcola, who is also being tracked by Bayern Munich. After signing Florian Wirtz for a record £126 million and nearing a deal for Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, Liverpool clearly have more plans in the transfer market.

When asked about the rumors and the staggering spending, Barcola said he isn’t worried by the numbers:

“£300 million? That’s just a number. What really counts is the project, the team, and where I can grow the most. Liverpool is a club full of history, ambition, and energy — exactly what any young player needs.”

Barcola’s comments have increased speculation about his potential move, especially since he seems to be losing ground at PSG. He was a substitute in last month’s Champions League final, coming on in the 67th minute and assisting in PSG’s 5-0 win over Inter Milan.

Though Bayern Munich remain interested, Liverpool are currently seen as the favorites. Manager Arne Slot reportedly wants to build a potent attack featuring Barcola alongside Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added: “Liverpool are very serious about Barcola. Talks are ongoing, and he is a top priority after signing Wirtz.”

Liverpool are also considering selling Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz, and Diogo Jota to balance their spending. With Barcola potentially joining, the club is clearly planning not just for next season but for a new era of dominance.
