Alexander Isak’s Stance on Liverpool Revealed Amid Major Transfer Rumours

Amid growing speculation about a potential transfer to Liverpool, Alexander Isak has previously shared his admiration for Anfield, hinting he’d be open to the move.

After an outstanding season with Newcastle United—scoring 27 goals in 42 games—the 25-year-old striker has drawn interest from top clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Daily Mail journalist Lewis Steele, Newcastle are unlikely to part with Isak for anything less than £130–£140 million. Steele noted:
“Newcastle won’t let Isak go cheaply. It’ll take a bid in the £130M–£140M range. With Liverpool already signing Florian Wirtz, it’s hard to see them paying that—but not impossible.”

In an interview from 2024, Isak praised Anfield, calling it “very good”—a comment that has energized Liverpool supporters.

Reds fans on social media have started speculating about how a move could make sense. One supporter suggested:
“Selling Isak for over £120M could help Newcastle reinvest—improve the defence and attack, maybe bring in Gyökeres or Ekitike, and keep Livramento.”

Another fan joked:
“Newcastle will squeeze £130M+ from us for Isak, buy Ekitike, and still turn a profit…”

A third fan chimed in with a prediction:
“If Isak’s transfer gathers steam, don’t be shocked if he joins Liverpool and Ekitike ends up at Newcastle. Let’s not forget Newcastle nearly signed Ekitike in January 2022 for €46M, but he opted to stay in France at the time.”

This summer, Liverpool have already secured Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and are nearing a record-breaking deal for German star Florian Wirtz. They are also closely linked with Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez
