Milos Kerkez appears to have unofficially confirmed his impending transfer to Liverpool.
The Bournemouth left-back is close to securing a move to Anfield, with ongoing negotiations between the clubs expected to lead to a deal worth at least £40–45 million.
This comes as Liverpool prepares for a major acquisition, with German midfielder Florian Wirtz set to arrive at Melwood for a medical. His transfer from Bayer Leverkusen could break the club’s record at a reported £116 million.
Kerkez is seen as a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson, who turned 31 in March and is reportedly attracting interest from Atletico Madrid.
Although Kerkez is still officially a Bournemouth player, discussions between the clubs are said to be progressing well, and a deal may be finalized soon.
During a live stream with a Serbian Liverpool fan group, Kerkez greeted supporters, saying, “Hi! Greetings to all Liverpool fans,” and posed with the group’s flag—sparking excitement among fans who believe he’s already signed.
Supporters reacted enthusiastically, calling him “a legend already” and speculating that the transfer must be complete for him to speak so openly.
Others expressed concern for Bournemouth supporters, suggesting they might be upset by his early enthusiasm.
