Luis Diaz’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain, with Spanish giants Barcelona expressing strong interest in the Colombian winger.
According to SPORT, Barcelona are eager to land Diaz for around €60 million, though Liverpool have set his price at €80 million. The Premier League side has already put forward a significantly improved contract offer, but Diaz reportedly remains unconvinced.

Diaz, who has been vital to Liverpool’s success since his arrival, netted 17 goals in all competitions last season. Alongside Mohamed Salah, he has been a critical component of the Reds’ attack. His potential departure would be a significant loss, though Liverpool has yet to indicate whether they would entertain selling him.
Jurgen Klopp has previously praised Diaz, calling him a “really special” player.
Barcelona will likely need to match Liverpool’s valuation to push a transfer through. While Diaz may be intrigued by a move to Spain, Liverpool aren’t under pressure to sell and the player isn’t expected to demand an exit.
Squad Reinforcements on Liverpool’s Radar
With plans to bring in Florian Wirtz in what could be a record-breaking deal, Liverpool are also looking to strengthen their forward line — particularly out wide and at center forward. A sale of Diaz would provide additional funds for these efforts.
If Diaz declines to renew his contract, Liverpool may consider cashing in while they can still command a high fee. After winning the league last season, the club remains a top destination for prospective signings
