Gravenberch and Kluivert respond to Frimpong’s message following Liverpool transfer

Ryan Gravenberch and Justin Kluivert were among those who reacted to Jeremie Frimpong’s message to Liverpool fans after the defender’s recent move from Bayer Leverkusen.

Following a dominant Premier League title win in Arne Slot’s first season as manager, Liverpool are wasting no time strengthening their squad this summer.

With Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure to Real Madrid confirmed in early May, the club prioritized signing a new right-back. They secured a deal for Netherlands international Jeremie Frimpong, who joined from Leverkusen for a fee reported to be up to €35 million (£29.6 million), as confirmed by The Athletic. The announcement of his arrival came just hours after Alexander-Arnold’s exit was made official.

Frimpong is set to join his new teammates in early July, but he has already begun engaging with fans, including sending out a message following the announcement of his signing.

Gravenberch and Kluivert responded positively to Frimpong’s message, which included the word “ready” as he prepares for his Liverpool debut. That debut could come as soon as July 13, when Liverpool play their first pre-season friendly against Championship side Preston North End
