**Liverpool Agrees to Deal with Napoli for Victor Osimhen Transfer**

In a significant step forward in the summer transfer window, Liverpool FC has reportedly reached an agreement with Napoli for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The deal is set to be worth between €75 million and €80 million, with the club having already scheduled a medical for the 26-year-old forward. Osimhen, who has been on loan at Galatasaray this season, has made a remarkable impact, scoring 24 goals in just 27 appearances, attracting the attention of several top European clubs, including PSG and Manchester United.

Despite Osimhen having a hefty €130 million release clause in his contract with Napoli, which runs until 2027, it is understood that the Italian club has agreed to lower their asking price in order to facilitate the move.

Liverpool’s interest in Osimhen comes as they look to bolster their attacking options amid growing doubts about the current strength of their frontline. The Nigerian international’s pace, physicality, and ability to finish chances with precision make him an ideal fit to lead Liverpool’s attack and provide the team with the clinical edge that was sometimes lacking last season.

While an official announcement is yet to be made, this reported agreement marks a significant move for Liverpool as they aim to revamp their squad for the upcoming season, and Osimhen’s arrival could be the key to solidifying their attacking capabilities.
