Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Liverpool have agreed a deal with Bournemouth to sign Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez, marking their fourth signing of the summer.
Following their Premier League title win under new manager Arne Slot, Liverpool have been active in the transfer market. They have already secured Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and are finalizing a record-breaking deal for his former teammate, Florian Wirtz. Now, Kerkez joins them as another key addition.
Kerkez, 21, had already agreed personal terms with Liverpool in May, but the club prioritized the Wirtz and Frimpong deals first. The agreement with Bournemouth is now complete, with the transfer fee reportedly around £40 million. A medical is expected soon.
Kerkez impressed during the 2024/25 season, registering two goals and five assists in 38 league appearances, playing a vital role in Bournemouth’s push for European football.
He is expected to become Liverpool’s first-choice left-back amid uncertainty surrounding current players Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas. Robertson is reportedly attracting interest from Atletico Madrid, while Tsimikas may be heading to newly-promoted Leeds United in search of more game time.
