Barcelona Signs Swedish Talent Roony Bardghji as Their Second Summer Acquisition

Barcelona have completed the signing of Roony Bardghji, a promising Swedish forward from Danish club FC Copenhagen, marking their second addition during this summer’s transfer window.

Reports had initially indicated a verbal agreement on the financial details between Barcelona and Copenhagen, which has now been officially confirmed with all paperwork completed.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced on X that all documents are finalized, and Bardghji will finalize his transfer to Barcelona this week.

Next, Bardghji will undergo a medical examination in Catalonia, with an official presentation to follow soon after.

Barcelona’s Development Strategy

Bardghji is expected to start with Barça Atlètic (Barcelona B) as part of a long-term plan to gradually integrate him into the senior team.

This signing follows the recent arrival of goalkeeper Juan Garcia from Espanyol.

A Rising Star

Born on November 15, 2005, in Kuwait to Syrian parents, Bardghji moved to Sweden early in life and began his football career there. Often dubbed the “Swedish Messi,” he is recognized for his skillful dribbling, sharp vision, and creativity on the field.

His addition reflects Barcelona’s ongoing focus on developing young talent, with hopes that Bardghji will make a significant impact at Camp Nou in the future.
