Manchester United Eye New Midfield Addition but Face Transfer Delay – ReportsAccording to The Mirror, Manchester United’s pursuit of OGC Nice midfielder Hicham Boudaoui may be postponed until later in the transfer window.

Although the club has identified the Algerian as a target, a potential transfer is complicated by the fact that both United and Nice are owned by INEOS, which limits direct dealings between the two.

However, it’s believed that a transfer could still go through closer to the deadline, provided an agreement is reached. Boudaoui joined Nice from Paradou AC in 2019 for around €4 million and has since made 175 appearances, contributing 13 goals and 13 assists.United are looking to overhaul their squad after a disastrous season that saw them finish 16th—their lowest ever Premier League position.

Manager Ruben Amorim is eager to reinforce the midfield and sees Boudaoui, a recent AFCON winner, as a valuable addition to spark a turnaround.Transfer Insider Urges United to Drop Jadon Sancho’s Price TagTransfer intermediary Vincenzo Morabito has publicly advised Manchester United to lower their valuation of Jadon Sancho if they hope to move him on this summer.

Sancho is reportedly not in Amorim’s future plans and has been put on the transfer list.Speaking to Radio CRC (via FotMob), Morabito said:“Ruben Amorim has made it clear that he doesn’t want Sancho or Marcus Rashford in pre-season training. United can’t expect €25 million for a player with only one year left on his contract and who earns €18 million annually.”He added that while a deal is possible, United may need to compromise:“It’s doable, but we’ll see how firm United are. Sancho is a talented player and performed fairly well at Chelsea.

Juventus were interested last year under Cristiano Giuntoli, but the move didn’t happen.”Sancho joined United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for around €85 million but has struggled to make an impact.

In 83 appearances, he’s scored just 12 goals and provided six assists, spending recent loan spells at Dortmund and Chelsea.
