Liverpool Eye £214M Double Transfer Swoop Amid Díaz and Núñez Uncertainty

Liverpool are preparing to break the British transfer record once again — potentially spending £214 million on two major striker targets — but their plans depend heavily on outgoing transfers, especially Darwin Núñez or Luis Díaz.

The Reds have already made a statement this summer by signing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for £116 million, setting a new British record. However, they may break it again if they move for both Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen.

Núñez Set for Exit:

?Liverpool are actively looking to raise funds, with Darwin Núñez expected to be sold. Napoli are very interested in the Uruguayan striker, and according to Fabrizio Romano, talks are progressing. Liverpool are reportedly asking for around £55–60 million (€65–70m) to let him go.

Isak Still in Play:

Newcastle’s Alexander Isak remains a top target for Liverpool, despite his £150 million price tag. Journalist Graeme Bailey believes a deal could be struck closer to £120–130 million if Isak refuses Newcastle’s contract extension. Liverpool are said to be watching negotiations closely, confident there’s still a chance.

Osimhen Also on the ListItalian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that Liverpool are also tracking Victor Osimhen, who has a release clause of £64 million (€75m) valid until mid-July. Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli, and Liverpool are prepared to act quickly if the opportunity arises.

If Núñez or Díaz is sold, Liverpool could unleash another record-breaking summer by signing both Isak and Osimhen — a clear statement of intent ahead of the new season.
