Liverpool Eye PSG Star Kvaratskhelia as Potential Luis Diaz Replacement

Luis Diaz’s future at Liverpool is increasingly uncertain, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich showing strong interest in the Colombian winger. Although Liverpool insist Diaz is not for sale, the lack of a new contract agreement leaves room for speculation, especially with the transfer window still open.

Barcelona, in particular, are pushing hard to sign the 28-year-old, and while their pursuit has briefly paused following the tragic passing of Diogo Jota, they are expected to renew efforts in the coming weeks.

In response, Liverpool have reportedly identified Paris Saint-Germain’s Kvicha Kvaratskhelia as a potential replacement, according to Anfield Watch. The Georgian international has quickly made a name for himself as one of Europe’s top wingers, playing a crucial role in PSG’s Champions League triumph and Ligue 1 success under Luis Enrique.

Kvaratskhelia, who joined PSG from Napoli in January, also contributed to Napoli’s title-winning run earlier in the same season, making him one of the most in-demand players in European football.

However, a deal may prove difficult this summer, given that the 23-year-old only recently joined the French giants. Still, if Diaz does depart, Liverpool may be forced into the market despite the challenges of prying Kvaratskhelia away from PSG.

Diaz had a strong season under Arne Slot, notching 17 goals and eight assists across all competitions and playing both as a winger and a false nine. His versatility and form make him a valuable asset, but a major offer could tempt Liverpool to enter negotiations.
