The Reds have already made a splash by signing German star Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a record-breaking £116 million. But the club’s spending may not stop there.
**Player Sales Crucial to Funding Further Moves**
To fund further acquisitions, Liverpool is looking to sell key players. Darwin Nunez is reportedly up for sale, with Napoli expressing interest. According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will seek around €65–70 million (£55–60 million) for the Uruguayan striker.
**Liverpool Targeting Isak and Osimhen**
Should Nunez be sold, Liverpool has its sights set on two marquee forwards: Alexander Isak of Newcastle and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
Isak is valued at approximately £150 million, though insiders believe Liverpool might negotiate a fee in the range of £120–130 million if contract talks at Newcastle break down. Journalist Graeme Bailey claims the club is monitoring the situation closely.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio also confirmed Liverpool’s strong interest in both strikers. Osimhen has a £64 million (€75m) release clause, but it expires in mid-July, adding urgency to any potential move.
