Benfica have proposed a €25 million offer to Chelsea for 50% ownership of Joao Felix’s rights, as reported by A Bola. The Portuguese club’s bid is currently the most appealing, ahead of interest from West Ham and Wolverhampton.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca does not have Felix in his plans, making a transfer likely. The deal is expected to be completed before the end of July, enabling Felix to feature in the Portuguese Super Cup against Sporting on July 31.
Journalist Nicolo Schira also reports that Felix has already agreed verbally to return to Benfica, the club that sold him to Atletico Madrid for €126 million in 2019.
