“Here we go!” – Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has officially confirmed that Manchester United have reached a total agreement with RB Leipzig to sign striker Benjamin Sesko in a deal worth €85 million.
According to reports, the deal will consist of €80 million up front with an additional €5 million in performance-based add-ons.
United had submitted an initial bid of around €70 million last week, which was swiftly rejected. But after intense negotiations, a second and improved offer has now been accepted by the Bundesliga side.
This marks a major breakthrough for the Red Devils, who have been pursuing the highly-rated forward as a long-term solution to their attacking issues.
Sesko is now expected to undergo formalities before being unveiled as Manchester United’s latest signing.
