When Araújo is firing on all cylinders, our defense becomes an unbreakable wall. What Flick can add is that extra layer of maturity and experience, sharpening his defensive techniques and helping him improve his on-ball skills.
Overall, it was a solid performance from Barcelona. Araújo and Curbasi complemented each other beautifully at the back.
And then there’s Fermín pure joy to watch. He’s going to be a crucial piece for us as the season progresses.
