BREAKING NEWS

Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim has confirmed that the club will now turn to

their backup option after the collapse of the Carlos Baleba deal.

“We have to move for our alternative target since his club has refused to let him join us even though the player himself was interested.

We don’t have a choice but to find a proper replacement for Casemiro,” Amorim admitted.

United had been pushing hard for Baleba, with insiders claiming he was Amorim’s top priority to anchor the midfield. The Portuguese coach was clear about his disappointment:

“Baleba would have been the perfect fit, the best choice for what we’re building.

But sometimes in football, you don’t get what you want and we must move forward.”

With Baleba now off the table, United are preparing a £50 million swoop for an ‘absolute monster’ midfielder who is said to tick many of the same boxes power, ball-winning ability, and presence in the middle of the park.

The message is clear: Manchester United will not stand still. Amorim wants his Casemiro successor, and he wants him fast.
