BREAKING NEWS

Zlatan Ibrahimović has delivered a typically bold statement on fellow Swede Alexander Isak, drawing a

sharp line between his own legendary career and the Newcastle striker’s current path.

Zlatan:
“He is a Swedish boy, and he knows very well what it means to follow in my footsteps. But let’s be honest playing for a Carabao Cup football club will never bring him close to the number of trophies I have lifted.”

Zlatan went further, insisting that Isak’s talent deserves a stage far greater than what Newcastle can currently offer:
“Newcastle must understand this they were playing for Isak, not the other way around.

A player of his quality doesn’t belong in small competitions. He has released Newcastle from his life, because that’s what a Swedish man does.

He moves on to bigger things.”

And then came the trademark Zlatan flourish:
“The Carabao Cup is not our type.

Soon, he will be playing for league titles that’s where he belongs, that’s how he will honor Swedish football.”

Classic Zlatan unapologetic, fearless, and always reminding the football world of the levels he once set.
