Liverpool’s Premier League meeting with Manchester United has been rescheduled, alongside two other matches, following the latest round of broadcast selections. Television companies have confirmed their live picks for October, and three of the Reds’ fixtures will now take place at different times.
The away trip to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge will still be played on Saturday, October 4, but the kick-off has been moved to 5.30pm. The match will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Liverpool’s highly anticipated clash with Manchester United at Anfield has also been altered. Originally scheduled for the Saturday, it will now be played on Sunday, October 19, with a 4.30pm kick-off, again broadcast live by Sky Sports.
Later in the month, the Reds’ visit to Brentford has been brought forward. The game will now take place at 12.30pm on Saturday, October 25, and will be shown live on TNT Sports. However, this fixture may be subject to further changes depending on Liverpool’s Champions League commitments. The group-stage draw takes place on Thursday, August 28 at 6pm.
As it stands, the only one of Liverpool’s opening nine league games not selected for live UK coverage is the trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, September 27, which will remain a traditional 3pm kick-off.
