Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Liverpool are pushing ahead in their pursuit of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
According to the transfer expert, the Reds are holding active negotiations to bring the centre-back to Anfield as soon as possible. Liverpool are reportedly prepared to pay more than £30 million in order to secure the deal.
However, the final outcome depends on Crystal Palace. The London club would only sanction Guehi’s departure if they manage to find a suitable replacement.
On his part, Guehi has already given the green light to the move and is ready to join Liverpool once an agreement between the clubs is reached.
