18-year-old Ghanaian centre-back Hafiz Gariba has officially earned promotion to FC Barcelona B following a string of outstanding displays at the U19 level and in pre-season friendlies.
Gariba, who joined Barcelona’s youth setup in February 2025, began at the U18s before quickly establishing himself as a commanding presence in defense. His rapid progression saw him move up to the U19 side in May, where he continued to shine and caught the eye of the coaching staff with his maturity, composure, and defensive intelligence.
His standout performances during the Barcelona B pre-season friendlies for the 2025/26 campaign ultimately secured his place in the squad, marking a major milestone in his budding career.
