Cody Gakpo has pledged his future to Liverpool by putting pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Anfield. While the exact duration hasn’t been revealed, the Dutchman’s previous deal was due to run until 2028.
Since arriving from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, the 26-year-old forward has become a key player for the Reds, racking up 131 appearances, 42 goals, and 19 assists across all competitions.
Speaking to Liverpool’s official site, Gakpo shared his joy:
“It feels great to extend my stay at such a special club. My family feels at home here, which made the decision simple. I’m thankful and excited to create more great memories with Liverpool.”
