Arsenal Attempted to Sign Juventus Star Kenan Yildiz but Were Rebuffed

Arsenal made an approach to sign Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz during the summer transfer window but were met with a firm refusal.

The Gunners had a busy summer, completing eight new signings as Mikel Arteta reshaped his squad to compete for major honours. New arrivals included Viktor Gyökeres, Eberechi Eze, Martin Zubimendi, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Nørgaard, Noni Madueke, Piero Hincapié, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Despite that significant investment, reports from Italy claim Arsenal also expressed interest in Yildiz, with Chelsea monitoring the situation as well. The 19-year-old has become one of Juventus’ brightest young talents and is highly regarded at the club.

However, Juventus were clear in their stance, labelling Yildiz “unsellable.” This strong position ended Arsenal’s pursuit swiftly, leaving the Turkish international to continue his development in Turin.
