Both Scholes and Carragher have long argued that Arsenal needed a top-class centre-forward to compete at the highest level. Scholes suggested after the January transfer window that if Martin Ødegaard had a true finisher at his side, it would enhance his game, naming potential targets like Alexander Isak and Jhon Durán.
