However, Chelsea assistant coach Enzo Maresca offered a cautious response. While acknowledging Guehi’s talent, Maresca did not give a direct endorsement for a January transfer. Instead, he emphasized that the club is currently focused on the existing squad and exploring various options ahead of the next transfer window.
