Eden Hazard to Return in Chelsea Blue for Legends Clash at Stamford Bridge

Eden Hazard is set to make his long-awaited return to Stamford Bridge in Chelsea colours, as the Belgian great prepares to feature in the Chelsea Legends vs Liverpool Legends match on October 11th.

This will be Hazard’s first appearance in blue since leaving for Real Madrid in 2019. He has visited the Bridge as a spectator — most notably during Chelsea’s 2021 Champions League semi-final win over Madrid — but this marks his on-pitch comeback, offering supporters a nostalgic glimpse of what many fondly called “The Garden of Eden.”

Hazard’s Liverpool Connection

Throughout his prime, Hazard earned a reputation for tormenting Liverpool. His stunning solo goal at Anfield in the 2018 Carabao Cup — where he slalomed past five defenders before firing into the far corner — remains one of the defining moments of his Chelsea career.

A Star-Studded Lineup

Hazard will be joined by a host of Chelsea icons including John Terry, Roberto Di Matteo, Ramires, Joe Cole, Katie Chapman, Carlo Cudicini, William Gallas, and Gemma Davison. The Blues will be seeking revenge after losing 2-0 to Liverpool Legends at Anfield earlier this year.

A Cause Beyond Football

More than just a celebration of Chelsea history, the event will raise funds for the Chelsea FC Foundation and the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust, supporting community projects and fan initiatives.

For Chelsea fans, the clash is about more than nostalgia — it’s a chance to once again witness the artistry of Eden Hazard under the lights at Stamford Bridge.
