Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic is reportedly nearing the end of his Juventus journey, as both Barcelona and Bayern Munich have set their sights on signing the 26-year-old forward next summer.
Vlahovic’s current contract with Juventus expires in June 2026, and negotiations for an extension have completely stalled, according to Tuttosport. The breakdown in talks has fueled speculation that the player will depart the Turin club on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Barcelona’s Strategic Move
At Barcelona, sporting director Deco has identified Vlahovic as a priority option to succeed veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, whose contract also concludes next summer. Early discussions between Deco and Vlahovic’s agent, Darko Ristic, reportedly took place in August, signaling the Catalan club’s growing intent to secure the Serbian’s signature should Lewandowski leave the Camp Nou.
The move would align with Barcelona’s plan to rejuvenate their attacking line and introduce a physically dominant yet technically sharp finisher — attributes Vlahovic is well known for.
