Ahead of their Premier League clash with Brentford, manager Arne Slot provided important updates on the fitness of Jeremie Frimpong, Alexander Isak, Ryan Gravenberch, and Alisson Becker.
Jeremie Frimpong
Frimpong was forced off early in the first half against Frankfurt after sustaining a hamstring injury. The Dutch defender, who had only recently returned from a similar issue, was replaced by Conor Bradley after just 19 minutes.
“Jeremie is not in a good place,” Slot told reporters. “He will definitely miss tomorrow’s game and next week as well. It’s a hamstring injury, so recovery will take some time.”

The Dutch midfielder missed the Frankfurt game after twisting his ankle in the weekend defeat to Manchester United.
“I had to take Ryan off because he was limping,” Slot said. “He wasn’t fit to travel with us to Germany. Hopefully, he’ll be ready for the weekend, but we’ll assess his condition again before the Brentford game.”

Alisson Becker
Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper remains sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained against Galatasaray. The Brazilian is expected to be out for several more weeks.
“Alisson won’t be in the squad and won’t join Brazil for the international break,” Slot confirmed. “His recovery will take some time, and I’d be surprised if he’s back before the November international break ends.”

Giovanni Leoni
Young defender Giovanni Leoni faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during his Liverpool debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup last month.
“He’s had surgery and will be out for around a year,” Slot revealed. “It’s a difficult situation for a young player who had just made his debut, but he has a long career ahead of him.”
