The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper 2025 Nominees Announced
FIFA has officially revealed the shortlist for The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper 2025 award, showcasing eight of the finest goalkeepers in world football.
Among the nominees are Alisson Becker (Liverpool), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint-Germain/Manchester City), and Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa). They are joined by Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), David Raya (Arsenal), Yann Sommer (Inter Milan), and Wojciech Szczęsny (Barcelona).
The shortlist was compiled by a panel of football experts, who selected these shot-stoppers based on their outstanding performances throughout the 2024/25 season. Fans, national team captains, coaches, and journalists will be able to cast their votes on FIFA’s official website.
The winner will be revealed during The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 ceremony — an annual event that celebrates the most exceptional talents across men’s and women’s football, including players, coaches, and goalkeepers.
The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2025 Nominees Announced
FIFA has also published the list of nominees for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2025, featuring seven of the most accomplished managers in world football.
Headlining the list are Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain) and Hansi Flick (Barcelona), both of whom have earned praise for their tactical innovation and team success. Other nominees include Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Arne Slot (Liverpool), Roberto Martínez (Portugal), and Javier Aguirre (Mexico).
The managers were selected by an international panel of football experts who recognized their achievements and influence during the past year. Voting opened on Thursday, November 6, and will remain active until November 28 on FIFA’s official platform.
The eventual winner will be crowned later this year at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025, where the governing body will also honor the standout players and goalkeepers in both men’s and women’s football.
