FIFA has officially revealed the shortlist for The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper 2025, featuring eight of the finest goalkeepers in world football.
Among the nominees are Alisson Becker (Liverpool), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint-Germain / Manchester City), and Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa).
They are joined by Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), David Raya (Arsenal), Yann Sommer (Inter Milan), and Wojciech Szczesny (Barcelona).
The list was compiled by a panel of men’s football experts who recognized these goalkeepers for their exceptional performances during the 2024–25 season. Fans, national team captains, coaches, and journalists will all be able to cast their votes through FIFA’s official platform.
The winner will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025, an event celebrating the most outstanding players, coaches, and goalkeepers in both men’s and women’s football
