“Guehi remains on Liverpool’s list for a future signing — we’ve already debated whether that should be in January or the summer,” Steele wrote. “Sources in Madrid reckon he has given his word to join the Premier League champions.”

Liverpool supporters might be cautious about believing any transfer talk surrounding Guehi after the collapse of his move in August. However, recent reports suggest that the player’s desire to join the Reds hasn’t faded.
