Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of completing the signing of highly rated South American talent Deinner Ordonez. Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal, signaling a major coup for the Blues.
Ordonez, a 16-year-old defensive prodigy, had also attracted attention from Liverpool. According to journalist Lewis Steele, academy scouts regard him as “the best talent of his age group in all of South America,” highlighting the Ecuadorian’s immense potential.

“EXCLUSIVE: Deinner Ordonez to Chelsea, here we go! Full agreement reached today for the 16-year-old defensive talent to join the Chelsea project. Independiente del Valle have accepted all conditions, with Chelsea beating three major European clubs to secure his signature. The Ecuadorian will arrive in January 2028.”
