West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen has emerged as one of Liverpool FC’s potential long-term replacements for Mohamed Salah. However, the England international’s future at the London Stadium seems firmly secured, with the Hammers reportedly only open to considering a transfer if presented with an exceptionally high offer. Bowen’s contract runs until the summer of 2030, following a seven-year extension he signed in 2023.
Bowen, who joined West Ham in the January 2020 transfer window, has become one of the club’s standout performers, making 250 appearances and scoring 77 goals. Despite West Ham’s struggles in the Premier League this season—they currently sit 18th in the table—Bowen has remained a consistent contributor, scoring four goals so far.
The winger has long been linked with a move to Liverpool, but West Ham appear determined to keep hold of their prized asset. Similarly, Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in Bowen, especially after signing his former Hull City teammate Mohammed Kudus, but a move for the Hammers’ star seems unlikely under current circumstances. According to Football Insider, West Ham would only consider selling Bowen if an irresistible offer arrives, and as of now, no bids have been received. The lure of Champions League football could tempt the player, but West Ham cannot provide that at present.
With Bowen under contract until 2030, any potential suitor will face a significant financial challenge if they hope to secure his signature.
Other Transfer Targets for Liverpool and Tottenham
Both Liverpool and Tottenham have other options in mind. The Premier League champions, despite strengthening their attacking lineup over the summer, may still look to add another winger in either the January window or next summer. Recent links include AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo and Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise for Liverpool.
Tottenham, meanwhile, have been linked with Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers and Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye in recent weeks. While Bowen would be a highly attractive signing for either club, both sides appear prepared to explore alternative options if West Ham remain firm in their stance
