7 Clubs Mohamed Salah Could Join If He Leaves Liverpool

Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool is uncertain after being left out of the starting lineup in the last two Premier League games. Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp suggests Salah might leave as soon as January, especially if he gets a tempting offer.

Despite signing a new contract last season, Salah has only 18 months left on his deal. Redknapp says a player of Salah’s stature won’t stay on the bench quietly, and a transfer could happen in January or next summer.

“People might think of Saudi Arabia or the MLS in the US,” Redknapp added, “but this feels like a key turning point in his relationship with Liverpool. He might feel let down and blamed for the team’s struggles, especially as Liverpool are performing well without him.”

Potential Destinations

  • Saudi Arabia: Clubs like Al Hilal and Al Qadsiah are reportedly interested. While Liverpool rejected previous offers, the financial power of these clubs could make a big move possible. Salah would be a star in the Saudi Pro League, potentially becoming its next big face after Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah will also be away for AFCON in December and January, making a January move less likely, so a summer transfer seems more realistic
