Liverpool preparing €60m bid for Eduardo Camavinga

Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a €60 million offer for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, according to agent-side sources speaking to CaughtOffside.

The 23-year-old Frenchman is one of Europe’s top young midfielders, and Arne Slot has made him a key target as he looks to strengthen Liverpool’s midfield. Camavinga has played 13 games for Madrid in all competitions this season.

Liverpool’s interest grows

A formal bid from Liverpool could force Real Madrid to think seriously about Camavinga’s future. Madrid are not actively trying to sell him, but internal discussions have taken place about his long-term role.

With Tchouaméni, Valverde, and Bellingham viewed as untouchable, some within the club believe selling Camavinga could help fund future transfers and keep the squad balanced.

Even so, Xabi Alonso values him highly, and he continues to play regularly when fit. Camavinga has also spoken highly of Real Madrid’s winning culture, suggesting he’s not looking to leave — though his future may depend on the club’s summer plans.

Intense competition for his signature

Liverpool face major competition from several top clubs:

  • Manchester United — exploring options as they plan beyond Casemiro.
  • PSG — want another elite French talent back in Ligue 1.
  • Chelsea — see him as a perfect fit for their young midfield.
  • Arsenal and Bayern Munich — staying in touch with his camp.

Camavinga’s versatility — playing as a defensive midfielder, box-to-box runner, or even left-back — makes him a hugely attractive option for Europe’s biggest clubs.

Liverpool are considered one of the leading contenders, but it’s still unclear whether Real Madrid will agree to sell him
