Arne Slot was asked about Elliott’s situation. He said he hasn’t really spoken to Elliott, except once or twice around the time he played Feyenoord—mainly because Feyenoord is Slot’s former club.
Slot added that he knows Elliott’s situation is tough and understands how he must feel, but questions about his playing time should be directed to Aston Villa.
Unai Emery also commented earlier, saying Elliott isn’t playing much because other players are performing better right now
