When questioned about Federico Chiesa’s long-term role at Liverpool, manager Arne Slot was clear in his response: “Yes, absolutely, he has a future here. Everyone playing for us has a future with us.”
Slot emphasized that Chiesa’s struggle for minutes this season was largely due to fitness issues: “If he returns fully fit next season—something he wasn’t during the first half of the campaign—he’ll be in a much better place. He was improving later on, but I couldn’t give him enough game time.”
Slot added that Chiesa will have the opportunity to prove himself during the pre-season, helping him build form and aim for more involvement moving forward.
