Earlier this season, he looked unstoppable—scoring 27 goals and providing 17 assists in just 29 games. But a recent dip in form has seen him register only one goal and one assist in his last eight appearances.
Now, with only one match left—against Crystal Palace at Anfield—the Liverpool star still has a shot at claiming the record.
“I’m hoping to break the record soon,” Salah said after Liverpool clinched the Premier League title. “It motivates me to keep pushing and working hard.”
