Salah delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday, proving why he deserves a substantial new contract after his match-winning display at Southampton.

However, in a worrying update, the Egyptian star revealed that he feels he is “more out than in” at Liverpool, as he has yet to receive any offer from the club.

“We’re nearly in December, and I still haven’t had any offers to stay. I’m probably more out than in,” Salah said.

“I’ve been with the club for many years. There’s no place like it, but ultimately, it’s not up to me.

“As I mentioned earlier, it’s December, and I haven’t heard anything regarding my future. I love the fans, and they love me. But in the end, it’s not up to me or the fans. We’ll have to wait and see.”

Salah’s performance against Southampton highlighted why securing a new contract for the 32-year-old is essential, as he remains at the top of his game.
