Ethan Nwaneri scored his first Premier League goal in Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The 17-year-old, who replaced Martin Ødegaard in the second half, secured a crucial victory for Mikel Arteta’s team.
Nwaneri became Arsenal’s second youngest-ever Premier League scorer, surpassing only Cesc Fàbregas, who was younger when he scored in 2004.
The midfielder has now netted four goals across all competitions for Arsenal this season, including a brace against Bolton and another goal against Preston in the Carabao Cup earlier in the campaign.
In the 2024/25 season, only Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz have scored more goals for the club than Nwaneri.
