Manchester United fans have taken to social media to mock former player Jadon Sancho following Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday, November 23.
The 24-year-old joined Chelsea from Old Trafford during the summer on an initial loan, which includes a mandatory buy clause at the end of the season.
Sancho had a tough time at United, scoring just 12 goals in 82 appearances before being loaned back to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, for the second half of last season.
Since moving to Chelsea, under manager Enzo Maresca, he has shown some signs of improvement, recording three assists in six Premier League games.
However, Sancho has not scored a Premier League goal since May 2023 and was left on the bench for Chelsea’s victory over Leicester.
He was only introduced in the final five minutes at the King Power Stadium, where he made little impact, completing just two passes, losing possession once, and failing to take a shot.
