Liverpool are poised to make waves this summer with a massive transfer outlay that has now surpassed £300 million. The latest name in their ambitious plans is Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola, who has finally addressed rumors surrounding a possible move to Anfield.
Sources in both England and France confirm that Liverpool are preparing a £100 million offer for the 22-year-old French winger, who is also on Bayern Munich’s radar. Having already secured a record £126 million signing of Florian Wirtz and closing in on Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, the Merseyside club appears far from finished in the market.
Commenting on the speculation and massive spending figures, Barcola remained unfazed:
“£300 million? That’s just a number. What matters is the project, the team, and where I can develop the most. Liverpool is a club full of history, ambition, and energy — it’s everything a young player looks for.”
Barcola’s remarks have only fueled talk of a potential transfer, especially as he appears to be slipping down the pecking order at PSG. In last month’s Champions League final, he was benched and only came on in the 67th minute, though he did assist Senny Mayulu in PSG’s 5-0 win over Inter Milan.
