Barcelona Legend Ronaldinho Urges Club to Sign Rafael Leão
Under the guidance of new management and an ambitious coaching staff, Barcelona is determined to return to the top of European football and end its long wait for continental success. As part of this mission, the club is actively pursuing top-tier talent in the transfer market. Their clear objective: to once again lift the UEFA Champions League trophy and reestablish their dominance on the European stage.
One of the supporters of this new vision is Brazilian icon and former Barcelona star Ronaldinho. He recently voiced his admiration for Portuguese forward Rafael Leão, who currently plays for AC Milan.
Known for his electrifying performances, Leão has often been tipped as a future Ballon d’Or winner. Speaking to Football Italia, Ronaldinho said, “Milan has some fantastic players and is a strong team. I believe they can accomplish a lot next season.”
He went on to praise Leão specifically, saying:
“He doesn’t need my advice — he’s a phenomenal player and one of the most exciting talents in football. I would love to see him wearing the Barcelona jersey someday.”
Spanish media outlets have already linked Leão to Barcelona, suggesting he is on the club’s list of potential summer signings.
Leão, who plays primarily as a left winger, combines technical skill and physical power, making him a perfect fit for Barcelona’s playing style. The 25-year-old is under contract with Milan until June 2028 and has made 253 appearances for the club, scoring 68 goals and assisting 54 more.
