Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon during the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, following their high-profile acquisition of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a potential club-record fee of approximately £100 million, the Reds are ready to make another major financial move to secure Gordon.
Reports suggest the winger could cost between £75 million and £80 million.
Liverpool Tried to Sign Him Last Summer
Gordon has been a top target for Liverpool, with talks held last summer that didn’t materialize into a deal. The 24-year-old could be a valuable long-term signing for the club.
As a lifelong Liverpool supporter, persuading Gordon to make the switch shouldn’t be a major hurdle.
With Luis Diaz rumored to be leaving Anfield, Liverpool are eyeing Gordon as a possible replacement. Despite Diaz being content at the club, interest from Barcelona has cast doubt on his future
