Nottingham Forest Eyeing Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas

Kostas Tsimikas appears to be on his way out of Liverpool, and according to Football Insider, he’s now on Nottingham Forest’s radar. A former scout has revealed that manager Nuno Espírito Santo is eager to sign a natural left-back this summer, with Tsimikas being one of the players under consideration.

“With Milos Kerkez expected to arrive, either Andy Robertson or Tsimikas will likely depart, as Liverpool aren’t planning to carry three left-backs,” the source explained.

Tsimikas has generally performed well when called upon, and several clubs are interested in him. Nottingham Forest have already conducted background checks on both his personality and playing style to assess whether he’d be a good fit for the squad.

“Nuno is keen to add a specialist in that position, and Tsimikas certainly fits the profile. However, he’s just one of several options the club is evaluating,” the scout added.

Tsimikas is widely expected to move on this summer. Although he made 29 appearances last season, only nine of those were Premier League starts — despite Robertson’s dip in form. Liverpool are reportedly open to selling him for a fee between £12 million and £15 million, a price tag well within Forest’s budget
