Florian Wirtz has opened up about his move to Liverpool and how his family responded to the decision.
“I was probably the first in my family to follow Liverpool closely, so when the club approached us, I was already thrilled,” he said.
“Honestly, I didn’t expect Liverpool to be the next step in my career, but my family was completely supportive — there was no need for persuasion.”
“Everything about the transfer felt right, and I was excited about the opportunity to play in a new league.”
He added, “I think my family will really enjoy coming to visit, spending time here with me, and being part of the stadium atmosphere. They’re going to love it just as much.”
