Club Finalizes Transfer as Fabrizio Romano Shares Liverpool Medical Update on Milos Kerkez

Liverpool are set to announce their fourth signing of the summer window.

Milos Kerkez arrived in Merseyside on Monday to begin his medical examinations ahead of a permanent move from Bournemouth.

The 21-year-old left-back, who has impressed in the Premier League under Andoni Iraola, will now team up with fellow Hungarian international Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield.

Medical Underway for Milos Kerkez at Liverpool
Kerkez was spotted undergoing the next stage of his medicals on Tuesday, as confirmed by football insider Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter).

His arrival will bolster new manager Arne Slot’s defense, adding depth and quality to the backline. Liverpool have already completed deals for Jeremie Frimpong and goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, the latter of whom agreed to join last year.

Nat Phillips Makes His Exit
Meanwhile, Nat Phillips has officially left the club. The 28-year-old, eager for a new challenge, has joined West Brom for an undisclosed fee. He follows Jarell Quansah, who earlier secured a move to Bayer Leverkusen, as another center-back to depart this summer.

Further Defensive Reinforcements?
With Quansah gone, Liverpool are now expected to target another central defender. Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace has been heavily linked, with the club reportedly interested due to his expiring contract.

However, the final decision will depend on his asking price. Richard Hughes and his recruitment team may delay further action if the valuation proves too high.
