Barcelona are reportedly competing with Ajax to sign Flamengo’s highly-rated winger Ryan Roberto, per Mundo Deportivo.
The 17-year-old has caught the attention of Barça scouts, who admire his speed, dribbling, and ability to play on either wing. The club has contacted Flamengo to inquire about the teenager, viewing him as an ideal fit for their youth-focused transfer strategy.
Ajax are also keen on Roberto and are expected to challenge Barcelona for his signature this summer.
In 2025, Roberto has recorded 20 goals and 14 assists in 33 matches for Flamengo’s U-17 side but is yet to make his senior team debut.
