Arsenal might not be able to provide Viktor Gyokeres with his ideal welcome if they complete his signing this summer.
The Gunners have a £63.4 million agreement in principle with Sporting CP, but negotiations are ongoing regarding the structure of the payments and the attainability of the proposed add-ons.
Arsenal are keen for the Swedish striker to travel with the squad for their pre-season tour of Hong Kong and Singapore on Friday. However, if the deal takes longer to finalise, Gyokeres may have to join up later — potentially after the weekend — ahead of their first friendly against AC Milan on Wednesday.
